Protective Windows For Laser Cutting Head

Protective lenses, also known as laser protective lenses or laser protective windows, are made from materials such as quartz glass, sapphire glass, and K9 optical glass. Their surfaces are coated with reflective layers tailored to specific wavelengths. The primary function of these lenses is to shield the focus lens from dust and molten splatter. While commonly used in laser cutting machines, they are also essential in other laser equipment like laser marking, welding, and engraving systems. Laser Protective Lens Maintenance And Install



Laser Protective Windows Cleaning Method
Prepare Hands
Place protective finger cots on your left thumb and index finger. This will prevent direct contact with the lens surface.
Prepare Cleaning Swabs
Lightly spray ethanol onto polyester cotton swabs to moisten them.
Handle the Lens
Using your left thumb and index finger, carefully hold the edges of the lens. Ensure that the finger cots do not come into contact with the lens surface to avoid leaving any smudges or marks.
Clean the Lens
Hold the lens at eye level for better visibility. With the polyester cotton swabs in your right hand, gently clean the lens surface, moving from the bottom to the top. Repeat the process for both sides of the lens.
Final Check
After cleaning, inspect the lens carefully to ensure no residues such as detergent, dust, foreign particles, or impurities remain on the surface.
